I regret to inform you all that I cancelled my Netflix subscription in late Jan, when it no longer was becoming useful for me on the basis of cost and time. I'm afraid Netflix has embraced "throttling" for just about every customer subset in some sense of the word.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Nonetheless, I'll be moving to Indianapolis soon and will start up a &lt;a href="http://indianapolisnetflixdistributioncenter.blogspot.com/"&gt;likewise blog down there&lt;/a&gt; by early summer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, this is a blogger account and I can add individuals who want to post their experiences with the Lansing Distribution center. The movies which are Long Waits in my heavily used account are also Long or Short Waits in the new account. This was very surprising to me. Returned a movie to free it's slot up on 1/7, they received/proccessed 1/11, did not ship until 1/12, will not arrive until 1/18. Movies would generally take 1 day to arrive, would be checked in that day, and a new movie would be mailed that same day. Now movies are sitting at the Lansing Netflix Distribution Center for a day until they are checked in. Also, movies are taking an extra day to ship. That is, a movie received Thr does not ship Thr, but rather Fri. Furthermore, it seems that the Lansing center has less availability recently. I have been getting a lot of movies from other centers, thus taking longer time.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before the New Year turn around was one day there, one day back. Now it's more like two days there, one-two-three-four days back.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Does this have to do with a bunch of new subscriptions for Christmas? I'm not sure. It seems that sometimes service is great, sometimes it lags.
